When you create a response file using the CA EEM installer, the EiamAdmin user password is munged and is written to the response file. If you want to munge an existing clear text password, navigate to the iTechnology folder from the command line, and run the following command:
safex.exe -munge <clear text password>
./safex -munge <clear text password>
The munged password is displayed on the console.
The following topic explains the changes to existing CA EEM features.
Valid on Windows
If the CA EEM Server installation is successful, the eiaminstall.log and the eiam-calm-install.log files are stored in the CA EEM install folder. During installation or installation failure, these logs are stored in the %TEMP% folder.
